My name is Käthe Röper and am currently living my 21st year in
the climatically fucked up city of Tallahassee, Florida. I'm making my
way through Tallahassee Community College so I can maybe make my way out
of this town (just for a while 'coz it's going to eventually suck me back
in) and go to school somewhere else. It's the theory of spreading insanity,
and darn it, I like it!
I'm tall, thin and I'm having to repress the urge to give you these adj in Spanish. At least I'm not blathering on about White-armed Hera and Night-wandering Hecate, be thankfull. I'm soon to be something along the lines of a Political Science major at Florida State University this fall. I'm learning how to dominate, baby. I still consider myself a History major at heart but my brain just gets a little bit too much into the application of power to be anything beside a Poli Sci geek.
I'm reading more and more these days, mainly thanks to my hour break MWF at school. I have really ecelctic tastes but tend to gravitate towards things that are fairly non mind warping, which people seem to look down on me for. Thanks, my idea of entertainment does not involve my brain hurting. I watch a lot of tv, and since I've gotten a tv and vcr in my room it's defintely enabled my burgeoning sci-fi addiction.
Some of my favorite books are (pretty much in order): All the King's Men, Mists of Avalon, Catch-22 (Yossarian Lives!), Genius by Patrick Dennis, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (FORD!!), Pride and Prejudice, Primary Colors (Member of the College Bowl Team of Bedlam State), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, The Straight Dope series by Cecil Adams, The Killer Angels, and Much Ado About Nothing.
Yeah, so I listen to "Corporate Rock". Big freaking deal. I like what I like so stop jumping on my damn back. I have been branching out though, with seventies rock and I've even been tuning into V89 as of late. I pretty much enjoy all types of music from classic rock to old R&B from the 50s, metal, etc. I mainly listen to Blink 182, Joan Jett, Weezer, Green Day, Tom Petty and everything in between.
Favourite Shows: Farscape, Brutally Normal, Popular, 7 Days, The Others, Buffy, Malcom in the Middle.
